Jarvis Virus

The Jarvis Virus is an item that can flip the alignment of a portal from Resistance to Enlightenment. It’s a very powerful weapon and so far there is no protection against it. And it can also be used by Resistance agents as well! If you are with the Resistance and for some reason you want to switch a portal to Enlightened, Jarvis will be owner of that portal. If you are Enlightened, portal, resonators and mods will be under your ownership. Possible uses include: breaking unwanted links, AP Gain, and creating a Level 8 portal using less than 8 players!

ADA Refactor

The ADA Refactor is an item that can flip the alignment of a portal from Enlightened to Resistance. It’s a very powerful weapon and so far there is no protection against it. It can be used by Enlightened agents also! If you are with the Enlightenment and for some reason you want to switch a portal to Resistance, ADA will be owner of that portal. If you are resistance, portal, resonators and mods will be under your ownership. Possible uses include: breaking unwanted links, AP Gain, and creating a Level 8 portal using less than 8 players!

Summary:

• Viruses are one of the offensive Ingress items.
• No AP is gained from use
• One Hour Immunity from counter Virus

Interactions:

• Firing: access the fire button under the OPS menu
• Recycling: replacing unwanted items in inventory with XM from within the Inventory option in the OPS menu.
• Dropping: dropping the item on the ground to allow another player to pick up. Can be done within the Inventory option in the OPS menu.

AP Gain:

• Destroying Resonator = +0 AP
• Destroying Link = +0 AP
• Destroying Control Field = +0 AP
